  • Founder of Austin Junior Volleyball in 1984. AJV Volleyball Club has graduated over 500 players that have gone on to play in college.  AVJ has built three multi-million dollar facilites in Austin and has donated over $150,000 in volleyball equipment to local schools.
  • Created events like 3rd Coast Volleyball Championships, The Lone Star Classic and The Tour of Texas Power League. The Mizuno Lone Star Classic is now the largest qualifier with 1,600 teams, 15,000 participants from over 20 states.
  • One of the visionaries behind the AES tournament management system and one of the part-owners of the company until it was recently sold.
  • One of the most influential leaders in the development of junior volleyball in America having developed portable floors and innovative ways to run convention center sized junior tournaments
  • As Vice President for USAV Competition Commission and Junior Olympic Division from 1990 to 2004 contributed to the growth and structure of the Jr. National Championships and the Qualifier Structure.
