This past year, our players and coaches were involved with running youth volleyball clinics in the city of Buffalo, engaging seven different locations and over 100 athletes, culminating in two tournament events bringing the students from different schools together.
Everyone was given a t-shirt, knee pads, and a pizza party, as well as the opportunity to step on the court and play with the Daemen collegiate athletes. This kind of community engagement is essential for the growth of our sport, as well as the growth and maturation of the Daemen athletes.
We want to thank the Champion Project and the support of First Point Volleyball Foundation and the Buffalo Community Foundation / Wilson Funds for supporting the program. – Donald Gleason, Head Coach Daemen Men’s Volleyball
