David played football at Dartmouth and also helped establish men's volleyball as a D1 sport, to become a two-sport athlete.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in volleyball worldwide. Member of U.S. Men’s National Team 1970-1976. Olympic champion, sports administrator, diplomat, and businessman.  One of the most respected athletes of our time.  Physicist from Morehouse College in Atlanta known for utilizing applied sciences to perfect performances in 400-meter hurdles.  Won Olympic Gold '76 & '84.  Unbeaten from '77 - '87 winning 122 consecutive races.  Became driving force behind Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.  Served as Chairman of USADA.  Son Julian played volleyball at Lewis University & professionally in Spain.

Founder, Austin Juniors Volleyball Club which has produced 500 college volleyball players and has three multi-million dollar facilities.  Created events like 3rd Coast Volleyball Championships, The Lone Star Classic and Tour of Texas Power League. Mizuno Lone Star Classic is now largest qualifier with 1,600 teams & 15,000 participants. Previous Head Coach, University of Wisconsin-River Falls & Assistant Coach, University of Texas Women’s Volleyball. Inducted into AVCA Hall of Fame 2018.

Executive Director, American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) 2006-2023. AVCA saw membership increase from 3,200 to 8,800; provided $150,000 seed grant to First Point Volleyball Foundation and initiated adding beach volleyball as NCAA Emerging Sport, which led to beach volleyball becoming NCAA championship sport. B.A. degree in Humanities from Michigan State University where played volleyball & basketball. 23 years as coach and administrator in intercollegiate athletics.

Most recently served as CEO and CIO of Aesir Capital Management - a spin-out from Diamondback Capital Partners - ACM was an equity and fixed-income investment platform managing ~$1.2b. Spent past decade coaching professional beach players such as Reid Priddy and Theo Brunner, Casey Patterson & Stafford Slick, Todd Rogers, and Amanda Dowdy. Has been a club Founder and an Assistant Commissioner.

Haley spent 17 Years as Head Coach, USC Women’s Volleyball as its winningest coach in program history, and was recognized as an AVCA National Coach of the Year, Volleyball Magazine National Coach of the Year, and twice PAC 12 Conference Coach of the Year. Spent 17 years as head women’s coach at the University of Texas, winning two national championships. Haley began his career coaching men at Kellogg Community College. Member of AVCA and Ball State Hall of Fames among others.

CEO of Tournaments, Inc. Casteel started as Assistant Coach for University of Texas before taking Head Coach position at Baylor University. Became Club Director of Houston Juniors Volleyball Club, establishing Houston Juniors as a premier volleyball club in the country. Established first full-time junior volleyball training center in Texas. More recently, served as Volunteer Assistant Coach at Cal State Bakersfield.

Motivated by the impact on her own sons' lives she strives to create access to athletes nationwide. Serves on the Dottie Rose Board to bridge the gender gap in tech for young women and is an Entrepreneur/Podcaster in CRE & CRE tech.
