Physicist from Morehouse College in Atlanta known for utilizing applied sciences to perfect performances in 400-meter hurdles. Won Olympic Gold '76 & '84. Unbeaten from '77 - '87 winning 122 consecutive races. Became driving force behind Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. Served as Chairman of USADA. Son Julian played volleyball at Lewis University & professionally in Spain.

Haley spent 17 Years as Head Coach, USC Women’s Volleyball as its winningest coach in program history, and was recognized as an AVCA National Coach of the Year, Volleyball Magazine National Coach of the Year, and twice PAC 12 Conference Coach of the Year. Spent 17 years as head women’s coach at the University of Texas, winning two national championships. Haley began his career coaching men at Kellogg Community College. Member of AVCA and Ball State Hall of Fames among others.

Became Club Director of Houston Juniors Volleyball Club, establishing Houston Juniors as a premier volleyball club in the country.
